Recovery After Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing
We would rather you hear this clearly before you book than discover it afterward. CO2 resurfacing produces controlled injury to the skin in order to trigger renewal and collagen remodeling. The healing is the treatment.
Plan for roughly 7 to 14 days of visible healing with more intensive treatments. Lighter protocols may require noticeably less. Residual redness or pinkness can persist past that initial window, and it settles gradually. Results develop progressively rather than appearing at once, because collagen remodeling continues for weeks after your skin has healed on the surface.
Most patients are treated 1 to 3 times depending on the degree of correction they want, with any maintenance plan determined together during your consultation and reviewed as your results develop.
