Restorativ Health & Beauty is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want anyone interested in our services to be able to find information, understand it, and get in touch with us.

Accessibility is something we are actively working on rather than something we consider finished. This page explains our approach, and more importantly, how to reach us if you encounter a problem or need help.

Our Approach

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, known as WCAG, as our reference standard. These are the internationally recognized guidelines for making web content more accessible, and WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the benchmark we work toward.

Accessibility on a website is ongoing work. Content is added, pages are updated, and technology changes, so we treat this as a continuing process of review and improvement rather than a one-time task. As we identify issues, we work to address them.

Areas We Are Working On

We want to be honest rather than make broad claims. Like most websites, ours is likely to have areas that do not yet meet the standard we are aiming for.

Common areas we review and continue to improve include text contrast and readability, descriptive alternative text for images, clear and consistent heading structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and properly labeled forms.

If you encounter something that does not work well for you, telling us is genuinely helpful. Reports from people actually using the site are more useful than any checklist.

Third-Party Content and Tools

Some parts of our website rely on third-party services that we do not control. This includes our online booking and scheduling platform, embedded social media content, and any external links.

We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party services, and we have limited ability to modify how they work. If you have difficulty with our booking platform specifically, please contact us directly and we will complete your booking with you personally. You should never be prevented from becoming a client because of a tool we use.

You do not need to use our website to become a client, and you do not need to explain why you would prefer not to.

We are also glad to discuss accessibility of our physical location, including parking and entry, if that would be useful before your visit. Please just ask.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website, we want to know.

Please contact us with as much detail as you can comfortably provide, including the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and what happened. If you use assistive technology, knowing which one helps us investigate properly, though you are under no obligation to share that.

We aim to respond promptly, and we take reports seriously. Where we can resolve something, we will. Where a fix takes longer, we will tell you honestly and offer an alternative way to get what you need in the meantime.
